Dr. Shawn Blick
is the founder and president of the premier Arizona urology group, Valley Urologic Associates. He has practiced in Phoenix, Arizona for over 16 years, and he was the Chief of Staff at the Abrazo Scottsdale Campus. He completed his medical school training at Mount Sinai Medical School with honors, and he performed his residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City. Additionally, his residency required him to complete 6 months of oncology training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.
As a urologist in private practice, Dr. Blick has specialized in Men’s Health and Erectile Dysfunction. He is the founder of ED Specialists of Arizona (ed-specialists.com), a center of excellence for men’s health and penile implant surgery. In an attempt to raise community awareness about penile implants, he launched BeyondtheBluePill.com, a transformational radio marketing campaign that has allowed Dr. Blick to become widely recognized and within top 10 “penile implanters” in the United States. Academically, Dr. Blick has proctored multiple courses on advanced techniques for penile prosthesis insertion, male slings, artificial urinary sphincters, and Urolift for BPH. In the community, Dr. Blick has also proven himself to be an excellent educator. He is an Adjunctive Faculty Member at Midwestern University (Osteopathic College of Medicine) and has been given an award for his teaching skills. He has hosted his own radio talk show (“Topics in Urology”), and he was featured on Fox 10 News for his work with “Penile Prosthesis Insertion”. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Urology.
Dr. William Brant
I am an Associate Professor at the University of Utah, School of Medicine. My current practice is dedicated to men’s health, with a particular focus on sexual and erectile medicine, chronic scrotal content pain, symptom management following prostate and pelvic cancer treatment, penile reconstructive surgery, and prosthetic surgery.
My clinical and research interests include management of the side effects and symptoms many men experience following treatment for prostate cancer or other pelvic malignancies, including sexual dysfunction and urinary incontinence. I have been involved in the Bioinnovation program at the University of Utah, a joint program between the Schools of Medicine, Bioengineering, and Business and have worked with several students to develop new products to aid in patient care. I am a reviewer and consultant for several journals including the Journal of Sexual Medicine, Journal of Urology, Urology, and others. I am a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons as well as a Fellow of the European Committee on Sexual Medicine. I am actively involved in the Trauma and Urologic Reconstruction Network of Surgeons (TURNS) and UpNext, 2 large multi-institutional research consortiums.
Dr. Adam Berman
Dr. Berman feel privileged to have completed his residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City which was the first center in Manhattan to perform the daVinci robotic prostatectomy. As such, robotic laparoscopic surgery has been part of his urologic experience since the first day of his training. This fact, along with advanced training in endoscopic management of kidney stones combines to create a minimally invasive approach to all urologic conditions. Dr. Berman strives to make his patients feel comfortable in the office so that his patients are then at ease when undergoing tests or surgical procedures.
Dr. Edward Gheiler

Dr. Mark Leo
Dr. Mark Leo is a board-certified urological surgeon. He has been practicing urology since 1994 and has become a well-known men’s health physician in Las Vegas, recognized for excellence in his field. His special interests include male sexual dysfunction, implant surgery, and complex male infertility problems, including vasectomy reversal.
Dr. Leo graduated magna cum laude from Duke University (Durham, NC) in 1984, where he studied biomedical and electrical engineering. He pursued medicine at Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in Hershey, PA, graduating with a medical degree in 1988.
Following med school, Dr. Leo completed a 5-year residency program in urologic surgery at the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota from 1989 to 1994. He practiced urology in Pittsburgh for two years before joining Urology Specialists of Nevada in 1997.
Since coming to Las Vegas, Dr. Leo has been recognized both nationally and locally as one of the area’s top urologists, voted a “Top Doc” in Vegas every year since 2011. He lectures on a regular basis and has been serving as president of the Las Vegas Urological Society since 2010 and the director of clinical operations for Urology Specialists of Nevada since 2013.
Dr. Leo is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and a member of the American Urological Association, International Society of Sexual Medicine, and several other professional organizations.
Married with three children, Dr. Leo is an avid golfer in his free time.
Dr. Edward Karpman
Dr Edward Karpman is a board certified urologist in private practice in Silicon Valley, CA. He joined the practice of El Camino Urology Medical Group, Inc after completing his fellowship in Male Reproductive and Sexual Medicine and Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX and his residency at the University of California, Davis. He is the medical director of the California Vasectomy & Reversal Center and the Men’s Health Center at El Camino Hospital Los Gatos. His practice focuses on the evaluation and treatment of male reproduction, sexual dysfunction and men’s health. He has authored numerous peer reviewed articles and book chapters on the subjects of urology, male infertility and sexual dysfunction and has been an invited speaker locally and regionally on these subjects. He also serves as a consultant for start-up biotech companies developing new technologies in the field of men’s health.
Dr. Paul Perito
Nearly 18 years ago Dr. Perito developed a boutique practice in Coral Gables, Florida treating Men’s Health issues with Erectile Dysfunction being his primary focus. Dr. Perito’s techniques and surgical pearls are derived from these 18 years of IPP experience having now performed over 5,000 penile implant cases. During this time Dr. Perito’s practice has gained a global presence as a treatment center for men with erectile dysfunction and has also become the #1 training facility where doctors from around the world come to learn his minimally invasive technique as well as other surgical procedures related to men’s health.
Dr. Perito attended Emory University for undergraduate training, University of Maryland Medical School, University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital for general surgery and urology residencies and a one-year fellowship at Flinder’s University, South Australia in prostate disease.
